Home nursing and therapy involve professional assessment, an agreed plan and care within the relevant professional role. Personal caregivers provide practical help with daily routines, companionship and respite. We explain which support is appropriate for you and how the people involved work together.
Support may focus on recovery after discharge, living with a long-term condition, mobility, comfort or daily activities. An assessment looks at the person’s goals, current care and home environment. Visits and reviews are agreed with the person and their authorised family contacts.

Our office in Dome is open Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm. It is the contact point for assessment scheduling, care planning, family enquiries and referrals. Home visit times are arranged separately. Services are provided across Accra.
Clear costs before care begins.
GHCS currently provides private-pay services and does not accept NHIS. We explain assessment fees, visits and any additional costs before you agree. We plan to accept NHIS in the future and will announce changes when arrangements are ready.
